Night Garden Wall Medallion

Night Garden is a large Wall medallion piece I created by stacking 3 seperate glass techniques onto the same piece. Originally, I created this piece as a large pot melt, but as I sat with it, I could see the fullness of what it really wanted to become start to emerge. This piece is a potmelt, frit casting, and freehand carving that gives the surface the detailed line work. This piece measures 22 1/8" wide. Due to the metallic sapphire and emerald green glass in this piece, a spotlight will bring out the rich layers sleeping in the background.
 
There will only be one of these, as it would be impossible to recreate.
